Appealing for protection of human rights means appealing to the constitutional court or tribunal to ensure your human rights when they have been damaged or ignored . Everyone has certain human rights which need to be granted. If those are not respected or altered by someone, it does not matter if it is a single person, a public or private institution , each individual is in their right to call for the constitutional court in order to have their human rights enforced and taken into account. (IN SPAIN IT IS REGULATED BY arts. 53.2 AND 161.1.b)
For example, if you are a woman working as a secretary under a contract which is unequal to the contracts male secretaries have, you have the right to call for the constitutional court, because article 23 of the declaration of human rights states that "Everyone, without any discrimination, has the right to equal pay for equal work."
Unfortunately, unless people are very vigilant about understanding the terms of their insurance policies, the shocks often start after a dramatic event, when the policy holder makes a claim. The first shock is being informed by the insurance company that the policy does not cover their particular loss situation. The second shock is personal when those insured realise they must cover the loss themselves. Edson Legal
