Case Law

Case law is the judges interpratacions of the law according to the each specific case, but judges do not create law rather they apply existing law to the givien situation.

We can find two types: Common Law and Equity

Case Law is most often applied when the issue is not covered by the statute.

Case Law is used to interpret what the statutes actually mean.
