Jurisdiction

The term Jurisdiction can have diferente meanings but all of them related to "power":

-Jurisdition is the power of a court to adjudicate cases and issue orders (the power, the right, the authority to hear and decide a case, to admister justice)

- Jurisdiction is the practical authority granted to a formally constituted legal body or to a political leader to deal with and make pronouncements on legal matters

-Jurisdiction is the territory within which a court or government agency may properly exercise its power
